DPP appoints Parliamentary Candidate for Nkoranza North

Sunyani (B/A), May 6, GNA – The Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) on Tuesday appointed Nana Yaw Agyei Donyina as its candidate to contest the Nkoranza North parliamentary seat in the December elections. This was after the National Executive Committee accepted his nomination by the regional executives.

In his acceptance speech, Nana Donyina, a 46 year-old letter writer, expressed his appreciation to the regional executives for their confidence in him.

He noted that the party had a great chance of winning the seat and appealed to the party leadership to give him their support and motivation to enable him to work for victory.

Nana Donyina asked party members to unite and avoid petty squabbles, internal wrangling and unnecessary backbiting in the constituency. Nana Amanfo Antwi, Regional Chairman, advised party members to be law abiding, trustworthy, faithful and redouble efforts to ensure victory for the party.

He appealed to the National Executive Committee to support the party’s parliamentary candidates as well as the regional and constituency executives in Brong-Ahafo to enable them to work hard during the electioneering campaign.
