He mentioned that he is aware of a plan by the Presbyterian Church Moderator to transfer the General Manager to a different location.

However, he urged the Moderator to exercise patience and allow the General Manager to complete and accomplish the initiatives he has begun especially the emergency ward, with the aim of enhancing the hospital as a facility for effective healthcare delivery.

Osagyefo Oseadeayo Dr. Agyemang Badu, in a gesture of gratitude towards the general manager, gifted him three plots of land situated in Dormaa Ahenkro, Sunyani, and Tema, respectively. Furthermore, he remarked that the Presbyterian Churches have significantly contributed to human resource development through their educational and health initiatives, which have greatly transformed the nation.

The General Manager of the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital, Rev. Dr. Isaac Appiah, articulated that despite the hospital’s 70-year history marked by considerable progress and development, it continues to confront numerous challenges that require urgent attention for sustained advancement. He highlighted the hospital’s significant difficulties with its emergency ward, which requires support to enhance healthcare services.

Furthermore, the absence of a CT scan poses a considerable obstacle, and any form of assistance in acquiring such equipment would greatly benefit the facility. He further noted that the Outpatient Department experiences leaks during rainfall, necessitating financial support to address these issues for the hospital’s continued progress and development.
