Dormaa District records 100% coverage in polio coverage

Dormaa Ahenkro, (B/A) Nov. 4, GNA – The Dormaa District Health Directorate, has recorded 100 per cent coverage of children under five, during the first phase of the nation wide immunisation programme against polio.

Mr. Bernard Acheampong, the District Coordinator of the programme told the Ghana News Agency that parents and other stakeholders collaborated to ensure the success of the exercise.

He expressed the hope that the Directorate would get the same cooperation during the second phase, which takes place later in November.
