Dormaa Constituency Chairman meets party members

The Dormaa West Constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Atta Amponsah, has met with the leadership of the party at Yaakrom.

The meeting was aimed among others at taking stock of their activities and plan effective strategies to ensure the growth of the party.

Mr Amponsah advised them to rally behind the constituency executives to help build a strong party to win the confidence of the people to enable the party to be victorious in the 2004 elections.

He reiterated the need for leaders of the party to be tolerant and patient in explaining the policies and programmes of the government to the people.

The constituency chairman stressed the need for hardworking, unity and vigilance from the rank and file of the party’s supporters to help the government’s effort to develop the area to the level of sub-district.

Mr Amponsah appealed to them to be wary of people who come to them to peddle lies to achieve their selfish ambitions.

He said the government had no room for self-seekers and opportunists.
