Don’t vote for a divisive leader – Amissah-Arthur

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has stated that the 2016 Presidential election is about a candidate who can best safeguard the peace, security and stability of the country.

Adding that it is also about the candidate who has the temperament and ability to marshal expertise of other people for the common good of Ghana. He said that candidate is President John Dramani Mahama.

He made the statement when he called on the Buipe Wura in his Palace at Buipe in the Northern Region.

He said it is in the same manner that he has been able to keep Ghana united, stable and peaceful. These according to the Vice President are key and they will continue to be for Ghana’s development.

He used the occasion to appeal to all religious leaders and Ghanaians in general to pray for all the political parties and their candidates as the campaigning heats up and they crisscross the country to sell their messages. This is because it is an important national exercise.

The Buipewura, NaaAbdulai Jinapor in a message for him was full of gratitude to government for providing Central Gonja with its fair of development.
