Don’t use EC’s tissue paper when casting your ballot – MP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Okaikoi Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah has cautioned supporters of the party not to make the mistake of using any material offered by the Electoral Commission (EC) to rub their hands before folding up their ballot paper on election day.

It is unclear why the lawyer cum politician gave that advice on his Facebook wall on Monday. Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 to elect a new President and 275 Parliamentarians to help govern the country for the next 4 years.

Political watchers believe the election is a two-horse race between the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the largest opposition New Patriotic Party.
