Don’t sell your conscience; vote on policies – Offinsohene

The Offinsohene Nana Wiafe Akenten III has entreated Ghanaians to dissect policies of the various political parties and vote for the party which is capable of improving their livelihoods in the December polls.

The traditional ruler advised them not to vote for a party that cannot alleviate them from their untold hardships.

In an exclusive interview with Abusua FM at his palace in Offinso, he urged Ghanaians not to sell their conscience by voting based on money and perishable goodies that will be given to them by the parties just to win their votes.

Nana Wiafe III further admonished the electorate not to be deceived by sweet talks by political parties adding that the days of voting based on political affiliation are over.

‘Vote wisely, don’t sell your conscience, vote based on the policies of the political parties, you know the sufferings you are going through, don’t allow the politicians to buy your votes with t-shirts, torch lights and money which will not solve your problems. Without Ghana, there is no government, lets pray for mother Ghana, we have only one Ghana, there is no point destroying it because of elections,’ he advised.

He called on Ghanaians to accept the election results whether it goes in their favour or not.
