Don’t involve in chieftaincy matters – Assemblyman

Aboasi Obohen(C/R) April 2, GNA – The Assemblyman for Aboasi Obohen, near Mankessim in the Central Region, Mr Andy Amoah has advised Assemblymen not to involve themselves in chieftaincy matters. They should rather cooperate with the Chiefs to ensure the development of their area he said, at the inauguration of the Okotopon Asomdwee Kuw, made up of citizens of the area resident in Accra at Aboasi Obohen.

Mr Amoah said there was the need to educate the youth to enable them to work with Chiefs to ensure the rapid development of the area. He noted with regret the low level of education and indiscipline among the youth and called on them to study instead of engaging unproductive activities.

The Aburaman Mpuntuhene, Nana Bentsi, urged Abura citizens resident in Accra to continue to take part and to contribute towards development. He appealed to the District Assembly to make efforts for the town to be hooked to the national grid and to re-gravel the road to improve the living condition of the people.
