Agona Swedru, March 30, GNA – The Presiding Bishop of the Calvary Crusaders Ministries, the Right Reverend Dr Prince Baah has cautioned Pastors and religious leaders to desist from giving false prophesies and miracles.
Bishop Baah who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Agona Swedru said due to economic hardship and social problems some people were rushing for “supper natural powers,” which was dragging the Christian religion into disrepute.
He also asked them to stop criticising other Pastors and seeking the down fall of their congregations.
The Presiding Bishop also spoke against the commercialisation of the Christian faith instead of preaching the word of God for congregations to have eternal life.
Bishop Baah called for co-operation between Pastors and political leaders to enable the country to move forward.
The Reverend Frank Kwesi Agyekum, Pastor in charge of Swedru branch of the Gospel Ambassadors Church called on Ghanaians to use the crucifixion of Christ to reconcile and show love towards their neighbours to ensure peace and stability.
He called on the people to change their attitude towards nation building and social vices such as corruption, bribery and armed robbery and to guard against the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Prophet Isaac Baah-Nyakoh, General Overseer of the Jesus End Time Gospel Church told GNA that Ghanaians should use the occasion to lead upright lives to inherit eternal life.
He called on Christians to follow the commandments of God and to desist from acts, which did not promote the policies and programmes of the government.
