Don’t carry old aspirations into New Year – Ghanaians advised

Reverend Richard Y.A Daketse, Koforidua District Pastor of the  “Amenuveve Congregation” of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, has cautioned Ghanaians to look into the future with new hopes and aspirations.

Rev. Daketse explained that this was necessary to avoid carrying their past aspirations, worries and frustrations, into the New Year.

Rev. Daketse made the call in a sermon delivered to the congregation at the 31st Night Service under the theme: “Lift Up The Name Of Jesus” in Koforidua.

He urged Christians to assume leadership roles in society, and live upright lives so that they would be role models for others.

Rev. Daketse urged all to eschew laziness, and continue to strive harder for a change in the coming year.
