Donewell presents computer to Ghana Police Service

Winneba (C/R), May 11, GNA – The Winneba Police District Command has received a computer and accessories valued at 20 million cedis from Donewell Insurance Company to enhance it operations. Mr. Perry Adamba, General Manager of Donewell made the presentation, following a request by the Police Service.

He said the donation was in line with the company’s social responsibilities to assist the police to operate effectively. Mr. Adamba said the company would organise forums for the Police on how to improve their relationship with the public. He urged the police personnel to exhibit professionalism at all times to enable them to enjoy cooperation from the public. Mr. Nicholas Gasu, Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of Winneba, received the equipment and thanked the donors for responding to their request.

He appealed to other organisations to come to the aid of the Police to bolster public peace. 11 May 06
