Don calls for collaboration in financing education

Cape Coast, April 27, GNA – Prof Kobina Yankson, a former Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, has appealed to corporate bodies and individuals to support university education. He said all over the world it has now become expensive for governments to single-handedly finance university education. “More than 60 percent of the cost of running the universities in some countries is borne by corporate bodies and individuals,” Prof Yankson said when a company presented furniture to the UCC School of Medical Sciences of which he is the chairman of the implementation committee.
