Dompoase gets maternity block at last

A modern maternity block built for the Benito Menni Health Centre at Dompoase in the Adansi North District, has been inaugurated amidst fanfare.

The project was executed with money internally generated by the health centre and support from Catholic institutions locally and abroad.

The Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi Thomas Kwaku Mensah, who inaugurated the facility, urged health personnel to work hard to promote quality health delivery.

He said the Church was determined to work in partnership with the State to improve the living condition of the people.

Madam Gertrude Manteh, Adansi North District Director of Health Service, praised the church for its contribution to the development of the health sector.

Okofo Sobin Kan II, Chief of Dompoase, said the people were grateful to the church for contributing to the development of the area.

Mr Attah Boafo, Member of Parliament, appealed to the people to support programmes aimed at promoting health.
