Swearing his oath of allegiance to Abusuapanyin Nana Nsaakwao I of Dawu family and elders of the community, Bafour Anom II called for unity and cooperation among the sub-chiefs, elders and the youth. He also urged them to work together and let peace prevail so as to enable him carry his development agenda.

Bafour Anom II also appealed to the Member of Parliament for area, Mr Samuel Ayeh Paye to support the rehabilitation of schools that were recently affected by rainstorm as well as the reconstruction of the Dokorochiwa market.

According to him good drainage system is lacking in the area and hope the MP would also consider that. Bafour Anom appealed to the District Assembly to provide the people with KVIP (Kumasi Ventilation Improved Project) toilet, portable drinking water and tarring of their 18-kilometre road linking the town to Nsawam-Adoagyiri.

He added that the tarring of the road would enable farmers to easily transport their farm produce to the marketing centres.
