Doctors warn Nunoo-Mensah to be mindful of lis language

Latest to condemn Brigadier-General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah on his suggestions that government shouldn’t pay striking workers, is the General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr. Frank Serebour.

Brigadier Nunoo-Mensah advised government not to tolerate the occurrence of workers laying down their tools instead of using dialogue to resolve their grievances. But Dr. Serebour observed on Okay FM that it is highly unpatriotic for a person close to government in power to speak in this manner.

He advised that rather than speaking in this manner, Brigadier-General Nunoo-Mensah should have reminded government to make efforts in settling debts owed various workers on strike.

According to him, doctors have served the country with their hearts, and despite their payment woes, have remained in the country to assist sick persons.

He ended by reminding Brigadier-General Nunoo-Mensah to thoroughly evaluate his words to avoid incurring the wrath of government workers on strike.
