Doctor offers free medical care to orphanage

Nkoranza (B/A), July 28, GNA – Dr Kofi Opoku-Agyeman, in-charge of the Blue Cross Clinic at Techiman, has pledged to offer free medical care to pupils of the Royale Child Foundation Home at Nkoranza. Mr Karikari Bediako-Poku, Founder and Project Director of the Home, said Dr Opoku-Agyeman would visit the Home every three months to provide the service. He expressed appreciation for the doctor’s offer and said Dr Opoku-Agyeman presented 100,000 cedis during his visit to the Home on Friday. Mr John Afosah, a teacher of the Busunya Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) Primary School and his wife, Miss Mary Bafoe, at the weekend presented 50 tubers of yam, a half gallon of cooking oil and other items valued at about 120,000 cedis to the Orphanage.
