Do well to work with minority parties – ICODEHS counsels Prez Mahama

A statement signed by Sheik Mustapha Ibrahim, Executive Chairman of ICODEHS congratulating him for his victory in the December 7 elections, also urged President Mahama to draw strength from “Almighty Allah and the virtues enshrined in the 1992 Constitution of Ghana as he embarks on the four year mandate the good people of Ghana have given him.”

The statement appealed to Ghanaians not to allow the pockets of post-election violence to take away the shine that engulfed the December polls.

“We urge Ghanaians to eschew violence since Ghana is bigger than any individual, political or ethnic group in the country.”

The ICODEHS statement also commended the security agencies, Electoral Commission, political parties and all stakeholders that ensure peace and unity, before, during and after the poll
