Kumasi, Nov 22, GNA- Participants at a five-day Quality Improvement in Primary Schools (QUIPS) and Community School Alliance (CSA) capacity building workshop in Kumasi, have called on the Ghana Education Service (GES) to establish newsletters to disseminate relevant educational information to stakeholders.
They were of the view that the newsletters when established at the national, regional and district levels will facilitate exchange of information on education, remove negative perception about education delivery and make stakeholders more active and aware of their roles.
The participants were interacting with the resource personnel at the workshop in Kumasi.
About 26 education office staff from Accra metropolitan, Assin and Ahafo-Ano North districts attended the workshop.
Dr Isaac Amuah, CSA Monitoring and Evaluation Co-ordinator, advised the participants to use the skills they have acquired to develop relevant information that will help stakeholders to address issues and problems relating to education.
He said the monitoring and evaluation programme is currently active in all the 110 districts.
Dr Amuah said eight districts have been selected to participate in a one-day monitoring and evaluation forum to be held in Sunyani on Friday, November 28.
