Disgraced Minister to contest 2004 elections

Alhaji Moctar Bamba – ex-depty minister for presidential affairs and Member of Parliament for Wenchi East in Brong Ahafo has announced his intention to contest again for the parliamentary seat in December.
Addressing a large congregation of Muslims in Wenchi on Tuesday, the MP expressed regret that a section of the people in the constituency were dragging the NPP party into chieftaincy disputes.
He warned that the trend would not augur well for the party’s development and urged all eligible voters to register when the voters’ register was re-opened.
