President John Kufuor and World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz joined 300 delegates, including Rosa Whitaker, former Assistant US Trade Representative for Africa, and high-profile members of the United States Congress at an exclusive premiere screening of the documentary GHANA: THE PRESIDENTIAL TOUR at the American Film Institute in Silver Spring, Maryland on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. The successful event, organized by The Discovery Communications and The Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa to boost American tourism in Ghana, was followed by a cocktail reception at Discovery Communications’ Global Headquarters.
