The Chiefs and people of Amambete in the Assin District have been advised to maintain habits that will keep them healthy at all times. the District Chief Executive, Mr.. Abraham Fokuo gave the advise at a forum on disaster prevention at Amanbete. He exhorted women to send their children for polio immunization when the exercise begins on the 8th of November. Mr.. Fokuo warned that parents who fail to have their children immunized against the six childhood killer diseases will expose the community to disasters. The Assin District Disaster Co-ordinator, Mr.. E. K. Boakye, appealed to the people to be on the alert against man-made disasters like bush fires and erosion.
