Dialysis Machine for 37 Military Hospital; Chief Imam commends christian council

Sheikh Dr Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, National Chief Imam and Grand Mufti of the Republic of Ghana, has commended the Christian Council of Ghana for providing a dialysis machine for the 37 Military Hospital.

He said their benevolent act of charity and initiative to purchase the machine was welcoming news for the use of all Ghanaians and appealed to all well to do Muslims in the country to contribute their quota to the great initiative.

This was contained in a press statement copied to the Ghana News Agency on Saturday, in Accra.

Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu cautioned all Muslims and non Muslims to maintain, tolerance and understanding with other religious faith in the country without compromising their values.

He also called on district, regional chief Imams and religious leaders to incorporate teachings of religious tolerance and understanding, education on poverty reduction, youth empowerment and human rights in their sermons.**
