Desperate NPP is accusing God for their misfortune – DCE

The District Chief Executive Officer of Sekyere Afram Plains, Hon. Fuseini Donkor, is accusing the opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), of excessively blaming everyone, including God Almighty, for their misfortunes.

Hon. Donkor noted that the opposition party, in their desperation, always finds reasons for their political problems, including accusing the omnipotent creator.

The DCE contends that the NPP fails to appreciate anything good, particularly if it is not coming from them, hence their penchant for unnecessary and unjustified criticism of the Mahama-led administration.

Making reference to the opposition party’s view on the 2014 Budget presented to Parliament by the Finance Minister a week ago, the Sekyere Afram Plains DCE, who is also a member of the NDC Communication Team, said he was not surprised at the position taken by the NPP, stressing that it has always been the habit of the opposition to oppose anything good for the country.

“Yeah, I am not surprised at the NPP; they are always fond of unnecessarily blaming others, they even blame and accuse God for being wicked and for giving a President like John Mahama to Ghana,” he noted on Hello FM.

The DCE’s assertion of the opposition party did not, however, go uncontested, as he was countered by a member of the NPP Communication team, Stephen Amoah, aka “Sticker”, who also questioned the religious faith of the ruling party, when their own General Secretary and some leading members have openly rebuked pastors and men of God in this country.

Fuseini Donkor said the NDC believes in their vision and objectives for the people of Ghana and that they would not allow the opposition NPP to distract them from the path of the Better Ghana Agenda they are trying to build.

He said the budget was the best government fiscal policy to be presented before the House of Parliament, stressing that it redefines the approach to the country’s economic growth and prosperity.
