Desist from the use of intemperate language – Rev Dannyame

Accra, Sept. 4, GNA Reverend Naana Dannyame has advised Ghanaians to desist from the usage of intemperate language and also avoid behaviors that have the tendency to bring the name of the country into disrepute.

Rev Dannyame, minister in charge of the True Vine Society of the Methodist Church of Ghana, was speaking on Sunday during an induction service for 36 youth members of the Church who had been admitted into the adult service.

She appealed to the youth to emulate the life of Christ and join the numerous societies in the church so that they could contribute their quota towards its growth.

Rev Naana Daanyame urged parents to raise their wards on Christian principles and serve as good role models for them.

She called on ministers of the gospel to be faithful to God in their dealings with congregation and keep away from activities that have the tendency to undermine the church.

All the new members were presented with certificates and bibles. The True Vine Society which started in 1985 as children service by the late sister Grace Armah, a member of the Nazareth Methodist Church, Mamprobi, now has over 540 adult members and over 100 children.
