Desist from swimming at Halcrow Beach.

Tema, Feb 14, GNA — The general public, especially residents of Tema has been advised by the Tema Police to desist from swimming at the western side of the Tema Harbour popularly known as Halcrow Beach. A police release signed by Inspector Olivia Turkson stated that, it has come to the notice of the police that, on festive occasions some of those who go to the Halcrow beach get drowned due to the rough waves at that part of the sea.

“The Tema police therefore advise the general public, especially school children to desist from going there to swim, in order to avoid any casualty during this Independence Day celebration and any other festive occasions”, the statement noted.
