Derby-Hall Educational Trust donates books to institutions

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA – The United Kingdom-based Derby-Hall Educational Trust, on Friday presented large quantities of supplementary readers to the Ghana Education Service (GES) as its contribution towards education in Ghana.

The books were to be distributed among four educational institutions; Saint John’s Grammar School at Achimota, Oda Senior High School, Adenkrebi District Assembly Basic School and Kwanwoma Junior High School in Ashanti Region.

Mr. Jacob Atta-Fuah, who presented the books on behalf of Pastor Gabriel Kretchy, Head of Derby-Hall Educational Trust in Ghana, thanked GES for facilitating efforts to support education in Ghana.

Ms. Benedicta Naana Biney, Acting Director-General of GES, receiving the books on behalf of the institutions thanked the donors for their assistance.
