Deputy Minister of Information’s office on fire

Accra, May 19, GNA – Fire gutted the office of a Deputy Minister of Information, Mr Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa on Tuesday destroying furniture, computer and accessories; a refrigerator; a television set and documents.

When Ghana News Agency arrived at the office, the whole place was in a mess, newly bought furniture, decorative materials in the room, files and documents had all been destroy either by the fire or through the process of putting it out.

Station Officer Nathan Abraham of Accra City Fire Station, who led a team of fire personnel to bring the situation under control, told the The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashitey, visited the scene.
