Half Assini (W/R), August 2, GNA- Madam Sophia Horner-Sam, Deputy Western Regional Minister, at the weekend called on the public to take good care of government properties.

She made the call at the inauguration of a market at Half Assini during her three-day working visit to the Jomoro District. Madam Horner-Sam said the public should regard public properties as their own and ensure that they were not destroyed.

She was happy that traders have moved into the market and were doing brisk business.

She advised traders at the market to put out live fire and switch off all electrical gadgets before leaving the market to prevent fire outbreaks.

She asked the Jomoro District Assembly to construct a day care centre at the market for children of traders working in the market. The cost of the market was not disclosed.
