Demo over Mahama’s reshuffle looms in the Upper East Region

Youth of the Upper East Region have given President John Dramani Mahama four days to rescind his decision to reassign the Region’s Minister, Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsoh.

President Mahama last Sunday nominated Ghana’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, James Zuugah Tiigah, as Minister-designate for the region, a decision which seemed not to have gone down well with the youth.

Unhappy with the decision, they have confided in TV3 that they will hit the streets of Bolgatanga naked after the four-day ultimatum.

According to the youth, Dr Nsoh has done “tremendously” well to be taken out of office.
