Delta Force members to ‘takeover’ NPP

Chairman of pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group, Delta Force, Kojo Fosu Bamba has confirmed their members are leaving nothing to chance and are therefore lacing their boots to run for executive positions in the party in its upcoming internal elections.

“I’m going for the Constituency Organizer position at Oforikrom in the Ashanti Region”, the leader of the vigilante group and the ex-convict revealed.

“Some of our members will also go for positions at regional and national levels”, Kojo Fosu Bamba told host of Abusua FM morning show, Kwame Adinkra.

Information available to mynewsgh.com has that members of the vigilante group across the country are bent to giving some incumbent executives of the party a run for their money if the party opens nominations for NPP members to contest for leadership positions.

“We also want to have our say at the constituency, regional and the national levels this time”, leaders of some vigilante groups told our investigation team in the Ashanti Regional and Greater Accra respectively.

“Here in the Ashanti Regional, I will run for the regional chairman”, one of them disclosed to mynewsgh.com’s reporters on grounds of strict anonymity.

Delta Force became infamous immediately the NPP won political power from the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) following their nefarious activities across the country.

Member of the group assaulted a security liaison officer appointed by President Akufo-Addo to head security in the Ashanti Region sayinge Mr. George Agyei is not their favourite for the position.

They were subsequently hauled before court for their actions and convicted to various fines which they paid but have indicated that the only way to make their concerns be addressed is stand for executive positions in the party.
