Delegation From Trinidad And Tobago

A five member delegation from Trinidad and Tobago, led by the Deputy High Commissioner to the UK, Mr. Patrick Edwards, is in Ghana for a 10-day visit. The delegation , made up of industrialists educationists and book producers, is in the country to exchange ideas with officials of the Ministry of Education. The visit is in reciprocation to one by a Ghanaian delegation to Trinidad and Tobago last year led by President Rawlings, which included the Minister of Education, Dr. Christina Amoako-Nuamah. Soon on arrival, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Dr. Amoako-Nuamah. The leader, Mr. Edwards, said the visit is that of a home-coming and hoped that their tour would benefit both countries. Dr. Amoako-Nuamah said Trinidad and Tobago has a lot of things in common with Ghana, especially in the educational sector, and hoped discussions with officials of the Ministry of Education would be beneficial to the two countries. gri
