Ho, Aug.18,GNA-Mr. David Nenyi Ampah Bennin, Volta Regional Police Commander has disclosed that defilement was the most committed offence in the Region.

He said the region recorded a total of 64 defilement cases from January to June this year as compared to 74 cases reported for the same period last year.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, at the sidelines of a meeting of Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Ho, he said defilement cases topped all criminal reports in the region and that was worrying.
