Decomposed body of pregnant midwife found in her room after four days

31-year-old pregnant midwife who works at the Atebubu Government Hospital has been found dead in her room after four days.

The body of the pregnant midwife, Dorcas Waja was already decomposed when found and has been sent to Atebubu cemetery to be buried.

It is unclear what actually killed the deceased, but family sources say the midwife took maternity leave last Friday to go home. She was a sickle cell patient, according to reports.

Her co tenant also a midwife took her off days after her night shifts only to come back on Monday and noticed there were swarms of houseflies in her dishes at her apartment.

She called the hospital administrator who then informed the police to come and open the door where they discovered her decaying body with stillborn baby between her thighs also decomposing.
