Decomposed body found at Begoro

Begoro (E/R), Nov. 14, GNA – The decomposed body of a 48-year-old hunter was found in a bush at Begoro on Thursday, following an intensive one week’s search.

Police Chief Inspector William Kwasi Nkrumah, told the Ghana News Agency at Begoro that the deceased left for farm on October 30, this year but never returned.

He said the chief and elders were informed and search parties dispatched to the bush but could not find him. According to him, following a continuous search, the decomposed body was found later in the bush.

Mr. Nkrumah said the body had been buried after a post mortem at the Begoro District Hospital, while police investigations continue.
