Erstwhile Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolis, Samuel Pyne, popularly known as Sam Pyne, has accused the NDC-Mahama administration of lies and deception.
According to him, President John Dramani Mahama has scrapped the previous regime’s E-Levy, betting tax, and emissions tax, only to replace them with ten new taxes, including a so-called “dumsor” levy. He described this as a high level of hypocrisy and stated that Ghanaians now regret voting for the NDC, labelling the party as “thieves and liars”.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen show, monitored by AkuapemHann, Sam Pyne also noted that Samuel Nartey George, who was very vocal against the LGBTQ issue during the NPP regime, has now gone quiet on the matter.
He therefore called on all those who previously criticised the NPP over LGBTQ issues not to feel shy but to come out openly and continue advocating for the law against the act.
