Death Of President Mills And The Future Of The Nation Ghana.

We the honorable members and executives of ‘Santa 95 North America’, The Adisadel College Old Boys Association Of North America’ can only describe as shocking the news this past 24 hours of the sudden death of the President of the Republic of Ghana. Our condolences goes to the immediate family, the ruling party- NDC, the good people of Ghana and all persons of Ghanaian descent and origin worldwide.

It was with much great pride that we watched how the nation Ghana swore in the Vice President as the new President Of The Republic, conducted itself and interpreted the national constitution and Electoral Comission laws peacefully without any incident. We pray that as the heads of the various opposing parties and former Presidents at this time unite in support of a peaceful coming elections and the newly installed Presidency of this young democracy and Republic, that the people will also follow through in ensuring a peaceful coming elections, respect for each other(regardless of tribe or political affiliation) and national pride, unity, peace and development above any man’s selfish aspirations.

To the good people of Ghana I say; there is no other Ghana anywhere else one can run to and call home except the only one beautifully situated between Cote d’ Ivoire, Togo, Burkina Faso and the Golf of Guinea.

Finally, to the man who wasn’t just any President but one who became a chief advocate of God, Peace and Justice, I say; Rest In Perfect Peace Mr. President, Ghana has lost a true Son and Heaven has gained an ‘Angel’.

God Bless Ghana.

Signed,

Peter Godson Ashittey(President) Santa 95 North America.
