DCE wins NPP parliamentary primaries

Twifo Praso (C/R), July 28, GNA- Mr Abraham Dwumo Odoom, the District Chief Executive for Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira, has been elected the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Twifo-Atti Morkwaa Constituency for Election 2004.

He polled 71 votes to beat Mr John Amoah who got six. The third contestant Mr Agyebi Kesse stepped down.

Mr Odoom thanked Party members for the confidence reposed in him and appealed to them to vote massively for the Party. Mr Albert Essuman, the Central Regional Secretary of the Party, appealed to members to tolerate the views of political opponents to ensure free and fair elections.
