DCE urges people to be more security alert

Chirano (W/R), July 18, GNA – The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Mr Adansi Bondah, has urged the people to be more security alert, to help curb the incidence of ritual murders in the area.

He urged the people to expose and bring to justice the bad nuts among them, whose criminal acts had become a scar on the image of the district.

He made the call when he paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Chirano, Okogyeaman Kwaku Gyamprah, at his Palace.

Mr Bondah said it was important for all to appreciate the role they had to play in the maintenance of security.

The DCE urged them to avoid petty squabbles and litigation, saying, they should accept to live in total peace and harmony.

He also asked them to give premium to education and make sure that all their children are put in school.

This, he said, was the only way they could be assured of a better and rewarding future.

Okogyeaman Gyamprah appealed to the government to rehabilitate the Subri Nkwanta-Chirano road, which was in a poor state.

He also appealed to government to extend the school feeding programme to their community.
