DCE urges contractors to deliver quality jobs

Nkoranza (B/A), June 23, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Nkoranza South District Chief Executive (DCE) on Friday urged contractors to deliver quality jobs in order to ensure value for money. He gave the advice when he inspected some on-going development projects in Nkoranza.

The projects include the construction of pavement tiles at the Nkoranza new market in the Kassardjan area and three roads in the town which are being tarred under a government of Ghana and the Japanese International Corporation Agency sponsorship package. Mr. Agyekum said the project would give Nkoranza a facelift and facilitate the movement of people, goods and services. The District Chief Executive and his entourage also inspected some school buildings which were recently destroyed by rainstorm to assess the extent of damage.

The affected schools were the Nkoranza Effah Presbyterian Kindergarten and Junior High School, and the Donkro Nkwanta District Assembly Junior High School. 23 June 09
