DCE nominee accused of possessing ‘fake degree’

Disgruntled members of New Patriotic Party (NPP) have called on state security agencies to investigate the District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for the Bosome Freho Yaw Danso over academic qualifications presented to the Flagstaff House to secure him the appointment.

The youth claim the nominee has never received formal education from any educational institution home or abroad that could award him the certificate he claims to have.

According one Aziz Hammid, on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Mr. Yaw Danso issued fake certificates to the Appointments Committee tasked to vet applicants for the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive (MMDCEs) positions.

“I dare him to challenge me on this allegation in any law court. I am ready to expose him more. He cannot show you even Kindergarten certificate. Who are his classmates”, he asked.

According to Aziz, Yaw Danso who is the incumbent constituency organizer of the party was serving in that capacity as messenger because he is unlettered.

“The National Security Minister, Kan Dapaah should direct his attention and investigate fraudulent activities Yaw Danso has perpetrated which is more than Delta Force members”

Aziz Hammid said he and other youth in the party are disappointed in President Akufo-Addo and Mr. Bernard Antwi Bosiako, Ashanti Regional chairman of NPP.

Meanwhile, first regional vice chairman of NPP, Kwabena Nsenkyere has promised to offer himself as an administrative aide to the nominee if approved by Assembly members in the area.

The nominee however declined comment on the matter when reached stating that it is purely an internal party matter that would be resolved as such.
