DCE for Tano south Confirmed

Bechem (B/A), May 5, GNA – Mr Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, has commended the chiefs and people of Bechem Traditional area for their political maturity in accepting the President’s nominee, Mr Bukari Anaba Zakari, as the District Chief Executive for Tano South. “This shows that the people are one with a common destiny in ensuring the rapid development of the district,” he said.

Mr Nyamekye-Marfo made the commendation when he addressed a mini durbar at Bechem after a street procession to greet the confirmation of the DCE. He explained that the high sense of political maturity exhibited by the chiefs and people remained “a historical fact that you are not tribalistic in your dealings”.

The Regional Minister appealed to the people to guide and co-operate with the DCE to promote the development of the district. Mr. Zakaria thanked the Regional Minister for his advice and support towards his confirmation.
