DCE calls on heads of departments to project assembly’s image

Nkroful (W/R), April 27, GNA – Heads of Departments of the Ellembelle District Assembly, have been called upon to project the Assembly’s image through hard work and dedication to develop the district.

The call was made during a review meeting at Nkroful on Tuesday, by the District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, Mr Daniel K. Eshun to assess previous activities and plan for the growth of the Assembly. He entreated the heads of departments to attach importance to meetings and cautioned them to desist from selecting their subordinates to represent them at meetings, saying that their presence were needed for them to make useful contributions and to share their problems with the Assemble.

Mr Eshun charged the heads to work as teams, saying 93teamwork brings about development and broadens knowledge.”

He indicated that the Assembly would sought the well-being of all officers and urged them to work without fear of intimidation and reiterated the need for them to be punctual at work as well as doing the right thing to merit the support of the Assembly. The heads of departments were given the opportunity to share their problems and successes chalked during the first quarter of the year as well as what the departments could offer to ease the demands on the Assembly.

For his part, the District Coordinating Director, Mr J. K. Armah reiterated the need for the heads to work together to augment the development of the District, adding that the support offered by all the various departments would enhance the growth of the Assembly. He advised them to submit their reports on time to enable the Assembly to capture them into its quarterly report.
