DCE assures Asuom of projects

Kade, Sept 24, GNA – Mr Yaw Yiadom-Boakye, the District Chief for Kwaebibirem, has assured people of the district that the two projects the President promised them last year, including the raising of the Asuom Secondary School to a model school and the improvement of the town’s roads, would be fulfilled.

He said this when a delegation of the Asuom Traditional Council, led by the Benkumhene, Nana Kwasi Owusu, called on him for discussions on the development of Asuom.

The delegation congratulated the DCE on his re-appointment. They praised Mr Yiadom-Boakye for his good works and his dedication to the improvement and transformation of the district and called for greater co-operation from all sections of the people to ensure more development during his second term.

Mr Yiadom-Boakye said Asuom Secondary School’s improvement would be tackled next year alongside those of some secondary schools selected to benefit from a planned elevation to first class status.
