DCE appeals to guards cautioned to be upright

Tarkwa, Aug. 17, GNA – Mrs. Christina Kobinah, the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive, has appealed to new municipal guards to refrain from corruption and other acts that would make the public to lose respect for them.

“Anyone found engaging in acts that were contrary to your schedule of work will be dismissed and prosecuted,” she said at the passing out ceremony for 23 municipal guards for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Prestea Huni Valley districts.

The guards were jointly trained in Tarkwa-Nsuaem over a six- week period.

She said the assembly expected high standards and effective discharge of their duties and urged them to discharge their duties with the highest professionalism that it deserves.

Ms. Henrietta Quaicoe and Ms. Cecilia Quanson received the overall best in drill while Mr. Peter James Gorman and Mr. Morrison Kkawor were adjudged the best in academics.
