Accra, April 1, GNA – Mr David Newtown, Former Director of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), has been recalled from leave with effect from April 1, 2009 to resume his headship of the Institute.
A statement Mr P.K. Krampah, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Education, signed on Wednesday said Mr Newtown was asked to proceed on leave in February 2006 and Mr Kweku Rockson, Senior Lecturer, was made the Acting Director.
