The office of the NDC flag-bearer has described the most recent survey conducted by the Dankwa Institute as a “Kangaroo survey”.
Speaking to Asempa News on his response to the survey which gave the NDC 25% as against NPP´s 52%, the Communications Director of Prof. Mills’ campaign Koku Anyidoho said the NPP was only trying save its sinking image which will be reflected in the outcome of the December polls.
According to the latest survey, three percent said they would vote for Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, flag-bearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) while the rest remain undecided.
Koku Anyidoho wondered why the Danquah Institute which is pro-NPP could organise polls and publish the results just days after the National Commission on Civic Education released results of a survey it conducted, which puts the NDC ahead of the NPP in the Presidential elections.
Last Friday, the NCCE released the results of its poll, which puts the NDC ahead of the NPP by a marginal 0.3% difference.
According to NCCE survey which sampled some 5327 respondents, 42.9% and 42.6% of Ghanaians, respectively, had confidence in the NDC and the NPP.
However, the Danquah Institutes’s survey, conducted between July 31 and August 8 saw things differently.
But Koku Anyidoho rubbished the survey and says it should not be taken seriously.
