Daniel Fenyi Appointed as New PRO of Ghana Education Service

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Daniel Fenyi as its new Public Relations Officer. Mr. Fenyi takes up the role at a time when effective communication and stakeholder engagement are crucial to the Service’s mission.

The GES management has welcomed Mr. Fenyi’s appointment, expressing confidence in his expertise and leadership. “As Head of the Public Relations Unit, he will serve as the vital link between GES and all its diverse stakeholders,” the management stated.

Mr. Fenyi’s responsibilities will include enhancing the Service’s branding, positioning, and communication strategies, as well as promoting transparency and collaboration across the education sector. The GES management has extended its best wishes to Mr. Fenyi in his new role.

Daniel Arkoh Fenyi is known as a renowned Educationist, member of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) and a Counselor.

Daniel is a distinguished academic known for his contributions to the fields of linguistics and education, particularly within the context of Ghana. His research interests encompass English language acquisition, communication challenges, and the application of systemic functional linguistics.

He has published over 20 research articles in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also participated and presented several conference papers. He is a Reviewer for three (3) International peer-review journals and currently serves as the Deputy Editor of the Colleges of Education Weekly Journal.

Daniel has served as Examiner for the IoE, (UCC) and the SoE, Legon. He is also a certificated Counsellor licensed by the Ghana Psychology Council.

He’s a media person as well.

The appointment is expected to strengthen the Service’s communication and stakeholder engagement efforts, ultimately contributing to the advancement of education in Ghana. With his expertise, Mr. Fenyi is poised to make a positive impact in his new role.
