Dan Abodakpi launches NDC chairmanship campaign

A Former Minister of State, Daniel Abodakpi, has launched a campaign to contest the chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Abodakpi launched his campaign in Accra on Friday, June 20.

The Former Ghanaian Ambassador to Benin assured the party’s faithfuls of dynamic and innovative leadership to keep it in power.

The launch was on the theme: “Reconnecting to the mass base and the core values”.

Mr Abodakpi will face competition from incumbent Dr Kwabena Agyei, who took the party from opposition to power, after assuming the post in 2004.

The NDC will go to congress on October 24 to elect new executives.
