Daily Guide Exposed!

The man who was quoted by the Daily Guide on Monday January 16th, 2006 as stating that he was chased out of the recent congress of the NDC with a CUTLASS, has accused the paper of peddling blatant falsehood.

The gentleman in question, Isaac Amoani, otherwise known as “Untouchable” and described by the Daily Guide as being the chairman of a nebulous group known as the Sese Group, told the Searchlight’s scouts in Parliament that most of the materials produced about him in the Daily Guide and penned by Mr. Ebenezer Ato Sam, who writes under the pen name Baby Ansabah, were blatant untruths. He also issued a press release to that effect reproduced below, (The rejounder is reproduced undited)

Dear Sir,

REJOINDER ENTITLED I WAS CHASE WITH CUTLASS

The Daily Guide issue of Monday, 16th January 2006 and captioned as above has totally misrepresented the fact and therefore try to make mockery of my person.

I want to state categorically that, I have not at anywhere stated to anybody that I was chased with a cutlass at the congress.

For that matter I have had a second thought. And I would not allow the media or any one else to mislead me into leaving the great party N.D.C. I therefore rescind my decision to leave the party and apologize to the leadership and the entire members of the great NDC part. To them I say, any inconveniences cause them is very much regretted.

Thank you,

Signed (ISSAKA AMOANI0 AKA UNTOUCHABLE – 16TH JAN. 2006.
