Dadiesoaba Senior Citizens Undertake Clean-up Exercise

Dadiesoaba (Brong Ahafo Region), 1, Oct., Members of the Dadiesoaba Senior Citizens Association, a benevolent society in the Asutifi district, have organised a clean-up exercise in the town. Led by Mr Kwame Poku-Agyemang, chairman, the members cleared weeds along streets and desilted gutters. Mr Poku-Agyemang advised the people on the need to observe personal and environmental hygiene and reminded them of the menace of malaria saying they can help prevent and control its spread. He advised the youth to refrain from anti-social practices to enable them contribute effectively towards the development of the area. ”Organise yourselves and embark on self-help projects to enable the government to supplement your efforts”, he advised, adding that the association is ready to support them. He appealed to the district assembly to establish a library at Dadiesoaba for the youth.
